Explaining some restrictions on our Standard PCB promotion New Rules on PCBFABExpress: (last updated 12 August 2004) 1. Surface Mount: For our online specials, Center to center distance between any SMT pads: Minimum 25 mils required If less than 25 mils but more than or equal to 20, then extra charge of $50 applies to the order. If less than 20 mils then we will get you a custom quote. 2. Hole Density: Taken as average for the whole board = (Total Holes)/(Total Board Area): Maximum 25 holes/sq inch allowed For example: If your board size is 3 in X 5 in, total area = 15 sq. inches Your board should have a maximum of 375 holes. If hole density exceeds 25 holes/sq inch but is less than 50 holes/sq inch then we may charge $50 extra for the order. If hole density is even more, then we may get you a custom quote. 3. On any layer, the Drill to Copper distances must be 10 mils minimum. In other words, the distance from the edge of any hole to the nearest separate copper feature must be atleast 10 mils. |
